Loving Newton and Sussex County since 1786.
We’ve changed a lot in 250 years, but at least one thing hasn’t: We’re still captivated by a faith that’s more than belief, but alive in the world through our acceptance, love, and service.
We’re seeking connections
As humans, our lives and communities are interconnected. We want those connections to come to light, so that we can live as a better Newton and a better Sussex County.
We’re building community
We want neighbors to do more than live next to each other; we want neighbors to live with a sense of mutual belonging, support, and acceptance.
We’re discovering purpose
There’s more to our lives than the facts; there’s a feast of meaning and purpose that is waiting to be enjoyed. With a little curiosity, openness to the Spirit, and patience, we set the table for discovery.
We’re called to service
Service to God and each other isn’t an optional part of the Christian life, but a joyful privilege. God calls us to feed the hungry, welcome the stranger, and provide for the welfare of others.
Worship with us
If it’s been awhile since you’ve worshipped with us—or anywhere!—we’ve put together a short guide for our time together. See the worship guide →
10:00 AM - Sanctuary Service
This service includes a full liturgy of singing, preaching, and the Sacraments. There’s also plenty of activities and learning for children, and nursery care is provided for toddlers and infants.
Congregational Life
We have an active calendar of events that includes weekly worship, education, prayer, music, children’s programs, youth group, and more.
We’ll let you in on a secret: the best way to stay connected is to subscribe to our weekly emails and monthly newsletter.
We can’t wait to meet you.
Our staff and leadership would love to grab a cup of coffee with you, sit down for a meal together, or chat over the phone sometime. To make it even easier, fill out this quick form.
