Bread of Life

Bread of Life is a church supported mission offering food and fellowship to people in need.

Lunch is served on Saturdays between 11:30 - 12:30 pm.

In the warmer months of April through October, the lunch is served at Memory Park in Newton.
During the colder months of November through March, lunch is served in Fellowship Hall at First Presbyterian Church of Newton

What We Do...

The lunch prepared and donated by the sponsoring team of the week includes hot soup, a sandwich, chips, fruit, dessert and beverages.  We gladly send home with those being served and leftovers which allows our guests to have a snack or another meal on the weekend.

How Can I Help?

You can help by donating food items or paper goods and by signing up to help set up and serve the lunch.  If you wish to join a team, you can expect to serve about 3 times a year.
For additional information, call the church office at 973-383-4420.

How Many People Does Bread of Life Serve?

Bread of Life serves approximately 45 every Saturday, but as more people are attending our lunches, our needs have increased.
